Jacob Koppel Javits (May 18, 1904 – March 7, 1986) was an American lawyer and politician. Peter Geoffrey Bourne was born on August 6, 1939 in Oxford, England. He received an M.D. from Emory University in 1962 and an M.A. from Stanford University in 1969.
